Job Overview and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-focused care tailored to the specific needs of the department, adhering to the standards and practices relevant to the state and specialty. Working alongside medical professionals and other members of the healthcare team, the RN provides personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care utilizing established nursing frameworks such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN acts as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes, thereby contributing to the overall success of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and during each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in status.
• Carry out procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring timely and thorough documentation of care in patient medical records.
• Deliver exceptional care by promptly responding to patient requests and proactively anticipating their needs.
• Ensure quality of care by collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, assess, customize, and implement a holistic treatment plan that fosters recovery.
• Facilitate continuity of care by acting as a liaison between healthcare providers and community support systems to address ongoing care requirements for specialized patient populations.

Qualifications Required:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training must be completed within 90 days of starting employment.
• Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Possession of a Registered Nurse Diploma is required.

• No travel is necessary for this position.
• No prior experience is required.

Our facility is a 585+ bed hospital offering a wide range of medical and health clinic services, including women’s services such as obstetrics and fertility, an emergency room, and a trauma center.
