Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility in Louisiana
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or current CFY status with the intent to pursue CCC
Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in school-based settings
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
Ability to develop and implement effective IEPs and individualized therapy plans
Passion for supporting K-3 students in their language, communication, and social development
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students ages 5–9
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
Design and implement therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
Monitor and record progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
Provide guidance to classroom staff for language and communication strategies
Maintain accurate documentation and student records according to state and district requirements
