Quality Assurance Manager

Our client is a highly respected and growing manufacturer known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and operational excellence. As the company expands its aseptic beverage manufacturing operation, it is seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance Manager to lead food safety, quality systems, and regulatory compliance at its South Carolina facility. This is an outstanding opportunity for a quality leader who enjoys building systems, developing teams, and driving continuous improvement within a fast-paced, growth-oriented manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all Quality Assurance and Food Safety activities for the facility.
• Maintain and improve GMP, HACCP, FSMA, BRCGS, and Quality Management Systems.
• Oversee aseptic process validation, environmental monitoring, and sterility assurance programs.
• Review and approve batch records, deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and product release documentation.
• Lead internal audits and support FDA, customer, and third-party inspections.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Leadership to drive quality performance and food safety culture.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop the Quality team as the facility continues to grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of Quality leadership experience within FDA-regulated food or beverage manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FSMA, CAPA, environmental monitoring, and food safety systems.
• Experience supporting GFSI-certified facilities, preferably BRCGS.
• Aseptic beverage, UHT, dairy, nutritional beverage, or sterile processing experience strongly preferred.
• Better Process Control School (BPCS), PCQI, and HACCP certifications are highly desirable.
