Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, on call as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles
• Ensure compliance with departmental and facility policies and standards of nursing practice
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Document and maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting system
• Provide compassionate care to residents in a long-term care setting

Qualifications

• Current Alaska RN license in good standing
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience
• BSN preferred
• EPIC charting experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in nursing process and primary nursing
• Skilled in using PCs, clinical databases, and applicable software
• Strong communication and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
