Speech-Language Pathologist in Madison, AL

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Deliver therapy sessions individually or in small groups
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' academic and social success
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and document services
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff regarding communication strategies in the classroom
