Cardiac Cath Lab RN

This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac Cath Lab. The unit operates multiple suites/labs, handling a significant number of cases daily. Common diagnoses include STEMI, NSTEMI, heart failure, congenital issues, TAVR, MITRACLIP, and peripheral conditions. Nurses will work closely with a team comprising Cardiac Cath Lab Techs and charge nurses. Shifts may occasionally extend to complete all necessary cases. Weeknight on-call requirements include 6-8 shifts monthly, including primary and backup call duties. Weekend responsibilities will involve being on call every 6-7 weekends, covering 24-hour shifts on average once a month. Holiday call requirements include coverage for specific holidays. The facility uses EPIC as the electronic medical record system along with GE and Philips monitors. Candidate must understand the expectations of working in a fast-paced environment and be prepared for emergent cases. Scrubs are provided for this role.

Minimum 2 years experience. Active license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS. Must-have: Ability to read strips; experience with titrating drips.
