Position Overview The Clinical Supervisor is a salaried, exempt, full‑time role responsible for all clinical aspects of treatment for the patients under their oversight. Duties include assessment, treatment plan development, implementation supervision, caregiver collaboration, and ongoing coaching of behavioral technicians. Clinical Supervisors report to the Group Clinical Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Use clinical judgment to promote optimal outcomes for each patient. Develop and maintain treatment plans. Ensure all supervision hours meet 100% treatment adherence each month. Evaluate patients to identify skill deficits and strengths. Analyze challenging behaviors to determine function. Develop functionally relevant treatment plans to reduce challenging behaviors. Observe treatment implementation for potential program revisions. Monitor treatment integrity to ensure satisfactory implementation of protocols. Direct behavior technicians in implementing new or revised protocols. Provide ongoing coaching and training to behavioral technicians. Support technicians physically within the center, following best practices of direct observation. Summarize and analyze data to evaluate patient progress and adjust protocols. Update treatment plans at least once per month based on patient response. Fulfill a minimum of 120 payor/client authorized billable hours per month, including supervisory and therapy hours. Accurately communicate treatment response to stakeholders (caregivers, payers). Coordinate care with other professionals. Administer, complete, and score standardized assessments. Include caregivers as part of the treatment team via consistent collaboration meetings. Interact with payers professionally and thoroughly. Engage with payers as needed for funding meetings (IEP, peer reviews). Stay up to date on best practices for ABA treatment. Maintain appropriate documentation in skills and medical records. Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues. Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues. Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times. Partner consistently with center leadership, including Operations Manager, other Clinical Supervisors, and technicians. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field (required). Certification as a behavior analyst from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (required). Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) (required). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Empathetic, compassionate, and able to maintain strict confidentiality. Excellent time‑management and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and comfortable with new systems and iPads. Must pass tuberculosis test. Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Work Environment Treatment may occur in patient homes, CARD centers, schools, community settings, or via telehealth. Clinical Supervisors work indoors and outdoors, moving between settings throughout the day. Physical Requirements Work with patients seated on the floor, in chairs, or other environments. Move frequently to gather materials, anticipate and respond to patient movement. Position oneself to respond to patient movements, including bending or kneeling as necessary. Utilize continuous visual tracking to monitor patient and environmental cues. Evade aggressive behaviors and block attempts to aggress as needed. Support patients in vocal speech development. Use modeling for gross and fine motor skill teaching. Work in indoor and outdoor settings under various weather conditions. Lift up to 30lbs. when assisting patients.
