Lead rigger

Mammoth Machinery Movers is a rapidly growing machinery moving and rigging company specializing in relocating, installing, loading, unloading, and setting heavy industrial equipment throughout the Southeast. We’re looking for an experienced Lead Rigger who can lead a crew safely and efficiently while representing our company professionally. Responsibilities Lead a crew on machinery moving and rigging projects Plan and execute safe lifts using forklifts, gantries, chain falls, rollers, skates, hydraulic jacks, and other rigging equipment Read and understand basic machine layouts and job plans Direct crew members during lifts and machine placements Load and secure machinery for transport Communicate with customers and project managers on-site Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently Perform daily equipment inspections and maintain a clean work environment Travel to job sites throughout Georgia and surrounding states (overnight travel required when necessary) Qualifications 5+ years of machinery moving and industrial rigging experience preferred Ability to lead a crew with minimal supervision Experience operating forklifts, telehandlers, and other heavy equipment Strong understanding of proper rigging practices and load calculations Ability to troubleshoot and think through complex moves Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus) Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in industrial environments OSHA certifications are a plus What We’re Looking For Strong leadership skills Safety-first mindset Reliable and dependable Professional attitude with customers Willingness to work overtime and travel when needed Someone who takes pride in doing the job right the first time Pay & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Per diem for overnight travel Opportunity for advancement as our company continues to grow Full-time position If you're an experienced machinery mover who can lead a crew and wants to grow with one of the fastest-growing rigging companies in Georgia, we'd like to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
