General Manager - Slim Chickens Fargo

Location: 4477 30th Ave S, Fargo, ND 58104

Pay: $80,000 plus 10% profit sharing

Profit Sharing Bonus: 10% profit sharing

Performance Bonus: Up to $3,000 per year

Job Type: Full-time

At Preferred Restaurant Group, we refer to our General Managers as operating partners as they share in the cash flow of their restaurant. We are looking for our next Operating Partner, at Slim Chickens in Fargo, to lead a high-volume restaurant team and drive daily performance. This role is ideal for a proven food service leader who wants more influence, stronger earning potential, and the chance to be rewarded for bottom-line results. You will lead staffing, service, cleanliness, food quality, sales, cost control, team development, and overall restaurant execution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including staffing, service, cleanliness, and food quality
• Lead and coach team members while building a positive, service-focused culture
• Manage inventory, control costs, and support sales growth
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and maintain high hospitality standards
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and health regulations

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant management experience is required (ie. General Manager, Assistant Manager, Kitchen Manager, Multi-Unit Experience, etc.).
• Strong communication, organization, and coaching skills
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Commitment to guest satisfaction, team development, and operational excellence
