Accounts Receivable Specialist – Birmingham, MI Clark Hill PLC is hiring an Accounts Receivable ("A/R") Specialist for our Birmingham, MI office. Responsibilities Independently resolve tasks related to collecting and servicing client accounts. Monitor and maintain a portfolio of accounts. Research client information to support routine collection duties. Generate outstanding receivable and ledger reports to resolve client billing and payment concerns. Ensure monthly reports are completed by firm deadlines and recommend processing of invoice balances in accordance with firm policies. Qualifications Associate’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field; alternatively, college-level accounting classes plus at least five years of professional experience in a legal collection or customer service environment. Knowledge of FDCPA collection restrictions preferred. Proficiency with MS Office. Self‑directed, able to thrive in a busy, time‑sensitive environment. Flexibility to work additional hours, especially in the fourth quarter; overtime pay applicable. Position is hybrid after successful training. Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate $24.00 – $31.25 or annual $50,000 – $65,000, based on a full‑time schedule. Annual discretionary bonus eligible.
