Network Controller

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Controller to support a company focused on delivering resilient, secure network operations for Department of Defense mission partners. This position is on-site at Scott AFB, IL or Hill AFB, UT . The Network Controller will provide 24/7 monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management across a global transport and IP network environment. This role directly supports mission ‑ critical communications for warfighters and national defense operations worldwide Responsibilities for the Network Controller include: Monitoring and troubleshooting network circuits using router commands, alarms, loops, and error analysis Utilizing enterprise network monitoring tools to identify, track, resolve, and escalate network incidents Supporting live global transport and IP network operations in a 24/7 environment Creating, updating, and managing incident tickets using Remedy Researching documentation and network data to resolve monitoring and performance issues Required Qualifications for the Network Controller include: 3+ years of experience in network operations, fault management, alarm surveillance, or NOC environments Experience with networking technologies including routers, switches, crypto devices, LAN/WAN, and transport systems (Cisco, Juniper, optical networking preferred) Strong understanding of network topologies, routing, and performance management High school diploma (additional directly applicable experience may be considered in lieu of higher education) Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) required at start date Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment Compensation for the Network Controller include: Salary Range: $60,000 – $73,000 depending on experience Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Sick leave as required by law #J-18808-Ljbffr
