CNC Programmer

$20 - $28 per hour DOE
Job Duties
- Creates medium to high complexity CNC programs using three axis CAM software
- Stores and maintains programs with Living History
- Provides CAM support, downloads programs to CNC controls, makes initial set up, obtains first piece approval, and turns over production of part to operator
- Optimize programs for speed of machine time and improved quality
- Diagnoses, analyzes, and troubleshoots programs
- Creates wire or surface geometry using CAD software
Requirements
- A.AS in Mechanical technologies or equivalent
- Demonstrates ability to program and machine complex geometries
- Four years of CNC programming experience preferred
- Must have superior computer programming skills
- Problem solving skills
- Time management skills
- Organizational skills
- Must be mechanically inclined
