divh2Roving General Manager/h2pThe Roving General Manager is a senior operational leader responsible for deploying to business units experiencing staffing shortages, performance challenges, or newly acquired locations. This role provides interim leadership, stabilizes operations, implements company standards, and ensures a successful transition to permanent management./ph3Principal Responsibilities/h3ulliDeploy to multiple locations as needed to provide temporary General Manager leadership and oversight./liliExecute the companys strategic operating plan, ensuring alignment with safety, customer experience, efficiency, and profitability objectives./liliAssess business unit performance quickly and implement corrective action plans to stabilize operations./liliLead and support local teams to ensure compliance with all environmental, safety, operational, regulatory, accounting, and ethical standards./liliPartner with sales teams to maintain and grow commercial, industrial, and municipal accounts during transition periods./liliOversee and enforce safety programs to ensure a safe and productive work environment./liliDrive process improvements and standardization across sites./liliIdentify leadership gaps and assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training permanent staff./liliBuild relationships with local stakeholders, including customers, municipalities, and community groups./liliProvide detailed transition reports and ensure smooth handoffs to incoming leadership./liliTravel extensively (up to 7590%) to support business needs./liliPerform other job-related duties as assigned./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliStrong business acumen with the ability to assess and act quickly in dynamic environments./liliProven ability to lead change, stabilize underperforming operations, and execute turnaround strategies./liliExperience managing multiple locations and diverse business lines./liliStrong leadership, coaching, and team-building capabilities./liliExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills./liliAbility to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure situations with limited structure./liliStrong communication and stakeholder management skills./li/ulh3Minimum Requirements/h3ulliHigh school diploma or G.E.D./lili5+ years of progressive leadership experience (waste, logistics, transportation, or similar industry preferred)./liliWillingness and ability to travel extensively on short notice./li/ulpAs part of the Ecowaste Solutions application process, please complete the Culture Index Survey (CI) along with your application./p/div
