Qualified Senior Electrical Controls Field Service Engineer will possess most, if not all, of the following skills and experience: Education
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Controls Engineering, or an equivalent degree; OR
- Associate's degree in electrical / Electronic Technology or Mechatronics with substantial relevant industry experience.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in industrial controls engineering, machine controls design, and commissioning.
- Demonstrated experience supporting field service on installed industrial machinery, including independent customer-facing problem solving.
- In-depth experience writing and programming ladder logic, function block, and HMI screens using Siemens (Step 7 / TIA Portal) and/or Allen Bradley platforms.
- Hands-on experience starting up machines after mechanical assembly through customer acceptance.
- Working knowledge of NFPA 79 / NFPA 70 / NEC requirements for industrial machinery electrical design. Ability to travel 50%+ on short notice - Primarily domestic depending on customer needs.
- Must be able to work in the United States and have passport for international travel
- Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, etc.
