Senior Accountant

Senior AccountantWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join a growing organization. This position will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting support, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong general ledger accounting experience, a solid understanding of GAAP, and the ability to partner with teams across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage portions of the month-end and year-end close processPrepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting documentationPerform complex account reconciliations and investigate variancesPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsAnalyze financial data and provide insights to managementAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisSupport internal and external audit requestsMaintain and improve accounting processes and internal controlsEnsure compliance with GAAP and company policiesAssist with fixed asset accounting, accruals, and balance sheet managementPartner with operational leaders and cross-functional teams on financial initiativesParticipate in process improvement projects and system enhancementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance3-7 years of progressive accounting experienceStrong understanding of GAAP and financial reportingExperience with month-end close, reconciliations, and journal entriesAdvanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysisERP experience preferred (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, or similar)CPA designation or CPA-track preferredDesired SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesHigh attention to detail and accuracySelf-starter with a continuous improvement mindsetBy submitting to this position, you are agreeing to be included in our talent pool for future hiring for similarly qualified positions.
