Associate Director

Role Description The Associate Director supports the Executive Director in the day-to-day management of Camphill Hudson, with primary responsibility for operational coordination, implementation, and follow-through. This role helps ensure that programs, systems, and administrative functions run smoothly and may serve as acting lead in the Executive Director’s absence. Key Responsibilities Operations & Administration Oversee daily operations, including facilities, fleet, and administrative systems. Monitor and follow through on facilities, fleet, and program operational needs. Draft and edit grant proposals, reports, and donor communications; support donor relations, fundraising activities, and grant management. Lead core communications efforts, including newsletters, outreach materials, fundraising events, and campaigns. Finance & HR Support Assist with financial processes, reporting, and expense tracking. Support HR functions, including onboarding and personnel coordination. Program & Service Coordination Support program operations, admissions, and documentation. Coordinate with families, care managers, and staff to support service delivery. Supervise direct support staff, including scheduling, coverage, daily oversight, and coordination across programs. Conduct onboarding, training, and performance feedback to help ensure adequate staffing and strong team capacity. IT & Systems Support Provide hands-on IT support, including setting up and managing user accounts, troubleshooting routine technical issues, and maintaining basic system access and security. Coordinate with external IT providers for system maintenance, updates, and incident resolution; assist with website and system updates, and help ensure reliable technology and data systems across the organization. Qualifications 5 years of leadership experience in Camphill, nonprofit, human services, or a related setting required. Strong communication, analytical, creative problem-solving, and collaboration skills, with proven leadership ability. Experience with OPWDD or another state-level regulatory body preferred.
