The Aquatics Instructor will provide high-quality coaching and safety supervision for individuals of all ages in a controlled indoor pool environment. The role focuses on developing both recreational swimming skills and competitive training for small groups of 2-4 students. The instructor is responsible for managing classes, assessing skills, maintaining equipment, and ensuring emergency readiness without the need for travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Coach swimming techniques for all skill levels and ages
• Supervise pool safety during lessons
• Assess student progress and skill development
• Maintain and inspect swim equipment regularly
• Interact professionally with customers and address their needs
• Respond promptly to any emergencies or safety concerns
• Manage swim class logistics and scheduling

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in swim instruction
• Currently in High School or High school diploma/equivalent
• Proficiency in swimming techniques and water safety
• Ability to plan effective swim lessons
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Patience and the ability to engage students of all ages
• Knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures
