Electrical Assembler

Electrical AssemblersElectrical Assemblers are responsible for assembly, installation, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems on the fire apparatuses. Electrical Assemblers will perform the following:Build wiring harnesses and junction boxesInstall and interconnect electrical devicesInterpret drawingsProgram, set up, test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair simple electrical components and systemsModify sheet metal to allow for additional component installationInspect mechanical assemblies to verify the fitting of electrical assembliesOther duties as assignedQualificationsElectrical Assemblers should have thorough knowledge of schematics, prints, and heavy duty automotive electrical systems.
