We have been named Becker's Top 150 Places to Work in Healthcare.*New Grads & former/current Military Welcome to Apply!*Free FirstHealth Fitness Membership*Great Benefits PackageResponsibilitiesUltrasound Tech Job SummaryPerform a full range of ultrasound examinations within the imaging department's scope of serviceDemonstrate proficiency in OB-GYN, Abdominal, and Vascular ultrasound techniquesProduce high-quality diagnostic images in a PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) environmentApply sterile techniques to assist with invasive procedures when necessaryCollaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic resultsMaintain equipment and ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environmentQualificationsUltrasound Tech Job QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED requiredCompletion of an accredited Ultrasound programRegistered or registry-eligible with appropriate credentialing bodyStrong knowledge of ultrasound imaging protocols and sterile techniquesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
