License: Active state Respiratory Therapist license
Certifications: Active NBRC credential
Must-Have: 1+ year experience working in a Level 3 NICU preferred. BLS certification required.
Description:
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team.
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will assess, treat, and care for patients of all ages who suffer from pulmonary disorders.
You will perform diagnostic testing and relevant exams, as well as set up and utilize cardiopulmonary equipment and machines to assist or monitor patient breathing.
Your responsibilities will include gathering data to accurately assess a patient's current health status.
You will assess patients based on their physical or age-related needs.
Observe, record, and report symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients will be part of your duty.
Administer and record prescribed medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures as required.
You will be responsible for airway management, including performing endotracheal intubations and extubations, pulmonary hygiene, and tracheostomy care.
You will also handle emergency life support procedures.
Providing extensive health education to patients and the general population through community services will be expected.
