Overview We are seeking a PRN Registered Cardiac Echo Tech This position is PRN - flexibility in schedule is required. Equipment Used: Canon aplio i700 Required Education: Associates in Radiologic Science and/or Registry from ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI Preferred Education: Bachelors of Science Required Skills:

1. Excellent organizational, interpersonal relationship, decision making and patient care skills.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, positioning, techniques, and both radiation protection and safety.
3. Knowledge of ultrasound physics.
4. Knowledge of medical terminology.
5. Ability to determine correct probe utilization and placement for optimal imaging.
6. Ability to examine images for the purpose of evaluation of techniques, positions, and other related qualities.
7. Ability to position patient and adjust equipment to produce desired or optimum image of desired anatomy.
8. Skill in safe and efficient operation of imaging equipment.
9. Ability to deviate from normal techniques when necessary to develop new and better techniques to keep the department up to date.
10. Ability to determine proper protocols to achieve optimum diagnostic images with high degree of efficiency.

Required Licensure/Registration/Certification: One of the following: ARRT, ARDMS, or CCI registry.
