Senior Specialist, Biotechnology Solutions (Tech Ops)

Senior Specialist in Biotechnology Solutions supporting vaccine production, process development, and technical operations at an animal health manufacturing site. Reports to the Site BTS Director and collaborates across operations, quality, and R&D functions to drive process improvements and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead production investigations and implement process improvements in manufacturing operations
Provide technical guidance on product impact from deviations and compliance issues
Support vaccine process development capabilities within the biotechnology solutions lab
Foster culture of learning, safety, and biosafety awareness across departments

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in biological science, engineering, chemistry, or related field
5+ years vaccine bioprocessing, production support, or process development experience
Strong knowledge of biosafety, aseptic technique, and laboratory safety practices
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
FDA or USDA-regulated manufacturing environment experience preferred
Lean, Six Sigma, or Minitab statistical skills preferred

Compensation: $117,000–$184,200 base
