Therapy - RRT

Respiratory Therapist, PediatricsResponsible for providing respiratory care to pediatric patients. Perform aerosolized medication delivery, volume expansion, and airway clearance techniques. Offer tracheostomy care and sputum induction for patients. Collaborate with the care team to implement and evaluate patient care plans. Utilize non-invasive ventilation, high flow, and mechanical ventilation techniques at IMC and ICU levels. Engage in interdisciplinary support and communicate effectively with families. Ensure high-quality patient care through adherence to established procedures. Participate in weekend rotation and on-call shifts as scheduled. Maintain proficiency in respiratory therapy skills and equipment operation. Required to float to other units as needed. Must successfully pass telemetry exams to demonstrate competency in identifying lethal rhythms.
