As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Goldsboro, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas in an armed, driving post, helping to support a secure environment. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, interact professionally with staff and visitors, and bring reliable communication, integrity, and teamwork to each shift in a dynamic setting.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or public agency contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or security-related hazards according to site procedures.
• Support order at the location by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and assisting with security-related responses involving restricted areas, transports, and/or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
