About the Position

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in interventional radiology. License: Valid state license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT. Must-Have: Proficient in using Siemens equipment. Preferred experience with electronic medical records systems. Description: Schedule: Monday - Friday with a rotating day off. Hours are from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Call Requirement: One primary weekday and one backup weekday per month, along with one weekend every 6 weeks that alternates between primary and backup. Key Responsibilities include performing interventional radiology procedures. Operate Siemens imaging equipment effectively. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures. Maintain accurate patient records electronically. Skills required include accessing/managing ports, angioplasty, catheter/drain exchange, central venous access, and more. Experience with various interventional procedures is necessary. Work within a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team of physicians, technologists, nurses, and advanced practice providers. The unit operates with multiple procedure rooms during normal business hours. Additional skills preferred include experience with specific imaging techniques and procedures. Candidates must be aware of the urgency of the fingerprinting process, which is required for credentialing. References from professional sources are necessary for consideration.
