Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Forest City, North Carolina

During your assignment, you'll gain valuable experience managing a wide array of patient diagnoses, from cardiac and respiratory to neuro cases. Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour shifts: 6:45am-7:15pm or 6:45pm-7:15am
• Alternating weekends
• Occasional call and holiday rotations
• Schedule cycle every 6 weeks

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 18 months' Med/Surg Tele RN experience
• At least 6 months with EPIC EMR
• Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms and managing non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone), IV starts, blood products, and wound care
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Willingness to float between multiple regional facilities as needed

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality care to a diverse med/surg-tele patient population
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5-6 (can increase during surge periods)
• Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, phlebotomy, IV/vascular access, and respiratory teams
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC
