What You'll Do
  • Operate diagnostic fluoroscopy and cardiac imaging equipment for patient diagnoses.
  • Assist in patient setup, positioning, and preparation for procedures.
  • Monitor and record patient vitals during procedures to ensure safety and accuracy.
  • Transmit, archive, and retrieve digital images using PACS.
  • Maintain image quality through regular equipment checks and quality control standards.
  • Support the healthcare team by assisting physicians during procedures and ensuring patient safety.
  • Follow all radiation safety guidelines and regulatory standards.
What You Need
Required:

  • ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist license in Louisiana
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an allied health professional
  • Knowledge of fluoroscopy and cardiac imaging procedures
  • Strong computer and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences
