Job Description
Matt Bowers Ford is seeking a Ford Senior Master Technician to lead our service department from the front. This is the highest technical position in our shop, requiring a professional who has mastered every aspect of the Ford product line.
We offer a high-volume, high-efficiency environment where you can maximize your flag hours without battling the elements. Our shop features brand-new, fully climate-controlled bays, ensuring you stay focused and comfortable year-round. Pay
$35.00 $60.00 per hour.
- Pay rate is tailored to your Ford Senior Master credentials and production history.

Work Requirements
- Certification: Current Ford Senior Master Certification is required.
- Active Drivers License with a clean driving record is required.
- Ability to commute to Metairie, LA.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ownership of a professional, comprehensive set of tools.
Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Act as the primary diagnostic authority for complex engine, transmission, electrical, and EV issues.
- Shop Mentorship: Assist in the development of line technicians and apprentices to elevate the overall shop skill level.
- Precision Repair: Execute manufacturer recalls and high-level warranty repairs to Fords "Fixed Right First Time" standards.
- Advanced Diagnostics: Utilize the latest Ford diagnostic software (IDS/FDRS) to solve difficult drivability and module programming issues.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all repairs meet the safety and performance standards of the Matt Bowers Promise.
- Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of diagnostic steps and repair procedures.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a Ford dealership service environment.
- Mastery of diesel, transmission, and advanced electrical systems.
- Proven track record of high efficiency and low comeback rates.
- Professional attitude with a desire to maintain a high-performance shop culture.
