Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Float Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Wilson, North Carolina. This role involves providing essential nursing care in the Labor and Delivery department with flexibility across shifts. The position is suited for candidates ready to support the clinical needs of a busy OB unit, ensuring quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Nights (7p-7a), with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: RN prepared with certification in BLS, fetal monitoring class within 2 years, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Preferred Qualifications: Circulating in the Operating Room for Labor and Delivery procedures is beneficial.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to support low census in Labor and Delivery and Postpartum units.
• Additional Information: The role involves circulating for cesarean sections, managing OB and GYN patient care, and supporting the team during variable census. The unit comprises 6 beds plus a triage area, with patient ratios aligning with AWHONN standards. Experience with GE Centricity or Meditech electronic health records is preferred.
