Certified Surgical Tech Pittsfield, MA Specialty: OR Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $1738 - $2094 | Shift: 5x8 Evenings Are you a skilled Certified Surgical Tech looking for your next travel adventure? Do you thrive in a dynamic operating room environment, eager to showcase your expertise in various surgical specialties? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you in Pittsfield, MA! Join our healthcare partner's team and bring your proficiency in General, Gyn, Vascular, Thoracic, Ortho, Neuro, and Trauma procedures to the forefront. As a Certified Surgical Tech, you will play a vital role in ensuring successful surgical outcomes, working alongside a dedicated team of professionals. Your ability to precept and work independently will be highly valued in this position.
- Perform duties as a Certified Surgical Tech in a busy OR setting
- Demonstrate proficiency in General, Gyn, Vascular, Thoracic, Ortho, Neuro, and Trauma procedures
- Precept new staff and students, sharing your expertise and knowledge
- Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain a sterile environment and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
- Adhere to facility protocols and safety standards
- Participate in on-call rotations as required
- Need 5 years experience in setting
- NBSTSA certification required (NCCT not accepted)
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Travel experience required
- Must have own vehicle
