• Deliver targeted speech therapy interventions focusing on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing issues.
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team of physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to establish comprehensive care plans.
• Educate patients and their families to foster progress beyond the therapeutic environment.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring a smooth continuum of care.
• Keep precise and prompt documentation that adheres to institutional, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of starting the position.
