Physical Therapist Assistant Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

We are seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. In this role, you will assist licensed physical therapists in providing rehabilitative care to residents, helping them regain mobility and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to residents' needs.
• Guide residents through therapeutic exercises and activities aimed at improving mobility, strength, and coordination.
• Monitor residents' progress during therapy sessions and document findings for review by the supervising therapist.
• Educate residents and families on exercises or techniques to continue therapy outside of sessions.
• Maintain a clean and organized therapy area and ensure equipment is properly sanitized and maintained.

Work Environment:

• The role is based in skilled nursing facilities where PTAs work closely with elderly or long-term care residents requiring rehabilitation support.
• This position requires physical stamina as it involves assisting residents with mobility exercises throughout the day.
