The Residence Inn by Marriott - Pensacola Airport/Medical Center is seeking room attendants to support their housekeeping team. JOB SUMMARY Responsible for cleanliness and sanitation of the hotel and maintaining established quality standards. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Obtain room assignments fromsupervisor Clean rooms according to establishedprocedures Know correct procedure for entering a guestroom Check room for damaged furniture andequipment Restock your cart at the end of each shift and return cart to storagearea Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart and storageareas Report all deficiencies and problems in guest rooms to the Maintenance Engineerdaily Be alert to all possible hazards and practice safety at alltimes Adhere to Lost and Foundprocedures Provide the highest quality of service to theguests Follow all safety procedures and policies for all guests andemployees Report any unusual occurrences or requests to a supervisorimmediately Adhere to proper key controlprocedures Attend and participate in staffmeetings OTHER DUTIES Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This position requires variable hours based on the needs of the hotel including weekends.
