Step into a rewarding role supporting students’ speech and language development within a collaborative educational setting. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to work near Auburn, WA, providing specialized services at Midland Elementary in the Resource Room. We are seeking an SLP who can start as soon as possible and continue through the end of the school year.

You’ll work closely with a manageable caseload of 40–50 students, conducting therapy sessions, assessments, and IEP meetings alongside a supportive staff. With 32.5 hours per week, you’ll make a significant impact while balancing flexibility with your professional commitments.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Washington State SLP license required
• SLP-CCC credential and experience in school settings strongly preferred
• Must be fingerprinted through OSPI
• Demonstrated skill in providing speech and language therapy for elementary-aged students
• Previous experience managing a resource room caseload is a plus
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other professionals

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services, both individual and group, for elementary students
• Evaluate students’ abilities and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Document progress, attend and contribute to IEP meetings, and communicate effectively with parents and staff
• Support students’ overall communication skills, fostering academic and social growth
• Stay current with best practices and state and federal regulations
