Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Float Pool)

Location

Cartersville, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for post-surgical, medical, and PCU stepdown patients on inpatient units
• Care for Emergency Department hold patients as part of float pool responsibilities
• Float throughout the hospital, including the Emergency Department, within scope of practice
• Adhere to holiday work requirements per contract terms, including major holidays that fall within the assignment period
• Complete all required compliance documentation and orientation modules within designated deadlines

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Ability and willingness to float to the Emergency Department and other inpatient units
• All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule changes permitted post-offer or post-start
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience in a float pool or multi-unit setting
• Familiarity with PCU, stepdown, and emergency department patient populations
