Description

• Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy aimed at enhancing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Engage in teamwork with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to construct effective care plans.
• Facilitate educational sessions for patients and families to ensure progress is supported beyond the therapy room.
• Provide occasional inpatient evaluations and services, ensuring seamless transitions throughout the rehabilitation process.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
