Security Officer - Westchester Behavioral Health Center - Full Time Join to apply for the Security Officer - Westchester Behavioral Health Center - Full Time role at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Overview At NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, security officers do more than patrol facilities and campuses. They participate in acts of service and integrity, helping to safeguard patients, visitors, employees and property. Responsibilities Protect patients, visitors, employees and property across medical and academic campuses. Maintain access control in assigned areas and respond to emergency situations. Support a lawful environment for lifesaving care. Qualifications Current NYS security guard license High school diploma or equivalent Completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 90 days of starting in role, and continued BCLS certification required every two years Driver's License required Preferred Criteria Bachelor’s degree, at least two years of collegiate coursework in criminal justice or a related field, or previous military experience Prior security experience Additional Information This position requires weekend Saturday and Sunday/holiday coverage. Salary Range: $26.00/Hourly On-site presence is required (variable by role); employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse travel expenses.
