Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide skilled nursing care, patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning. The nurse will collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment. A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience and an active California RN license are required. Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessments and monitoring.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Manage patient care documentation and communicate patient status effectively.
• Float between Medical/Surgical and Orthopedics units as needed.
• Participate in weekend shifts every other week and be available for call depending on patient census.

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of California (pending licenses not accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in Labor and Delivery.
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.

• Experience as a seasoned traveler nurse preferred but not required.
• Experience in Medical/Surgical and Orthopedics nursing for float assignments.

• Weekend work required every other week.
• Call requirements depend on patient census.
• Return to Office (RTO) restrictions limit assignments to no more than 7 days at a time.
• Scrub color is royal blue.
• Cancellations due to shift changes after signature result in a systemwide Do Not Return (DNR) status.

• Start date: ASAP.
• Work schedule includes weekend shifts every other week.
• Shift assignments may include float to Medical/Surgical and Orthopedics units.
• Call schedules are variable based on patient census.
