Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• 12 months of travel experience is preferred.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Connecticut license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Yale and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Yale.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit/Facility Details: Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics. Travel RN functions as a generalist.

Shift & Scheduling: 3x12 or 4x12s Weekend REQ: Every other

Floating Requirements: Travelers will float between 2 campuses (5 ICU specialties) Yale New Haven Hospital and the Saint Raphael campus. Must float to step down as needed including a pulmonary stepdown unit. There are 9 critical care units and 7 step down units across two campuses.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 01/18/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
