About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP, Engineering Lead for Investment Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the technical vision and roadmap for investment operations, leading a team of software engineers, and overseeing the end-to-end development of engineering solutions to support the firm's growth. This role requires active participation in all stages of the solution development process, from ideation to delivery, and working closely with senior engineering and business leaders to define the product roadmap and strategy. The VP, Engineering Lead will also be tasked with implementing industry best practices, managing vendor relationships, and driving technological innovations in collaboration with senior business partners. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, with at least 10 years of hands-on software development experience, including a minimum of 4 years in a managerial role. A strong background in private markets within asset management is essential, with a focus on the investment lifecycle. The role demands a proven engineering leader with strong technical and functional capabilities, experience in full-stack modern scalable application development, and proficiency in a range of programming languages and technologies. The ideal candidate will have a track record of managing stakeholders, leading project prioritization discussions, and fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability within the team. Excellent communication and client service skills are also required.
