Registered Nurse - Maternity Unit

This position requires a Night Shift schedule: 3 12-hour shifts per week, from 19:00 to 07:30.

The Maternity Unit is a family-centered, multidisciplinary care area dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based care to mothers, newborns, and families throughout the childbirth experience. The unit emphasizes high-quality antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care while promoting patient safety, education, and positive birth experiences. Through collaboration among nurses, physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff, the team is committed to delivering exceptional care that supports the physical, emotional, and educational needs of every family.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized postpartum and baby care.
• Monitor antepartum patients, including antepartum monitoring.
• Collaborate with L&D and NICU teams.
• Ensure patient safety and implement evidence-based practices.
• Educate and support mothers and families throughout their childbirth experience.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• At least 1 year of nursing experience, specifically in maternity or neonatal care.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Experience with fetal monitoring.
• Ability to float to L&D and NICU as needed.
• Availability to work at least 1-2 weekends per month; no holiday shifts required.
