Job Title: Dial Press Operator (Temporary)

Location: Thomaston, CT

Pay: $17–$18/hr

Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Overview

Manufacturing company in Thomaston, CT is seeking a Dial Press Operator for a temporary position expected to last a few months . The ideal candidate will have manufacturing or machine operating experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment while following safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate dial press and stamping machinery to produce metal components.
• Load raw materials and monitor machines during production.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Make basic machine adjustments as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Maintain production and quality records.
• Report machine issues or quality concerns to supervision.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
• Previous dial press, stamping, or press experience is a plus.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Working Conditions

• Standing for extended periods.
• Ability to lift/move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to typical manufacturing conditions, including noise and moving machinery.
• Proper PPE required.
