Part Time Associate Veterinarian - Green Valley Veterinary Clinic We are looking for an experienced veterinarian to provide comprehensive care at Green Valley Veterinary Clinic in Yucaipa, California, working part‑time with predictable hours and a home-hospital assignment. Position Overview As a part‑time veterinarian you will deliver comprehensive medical and surgical care, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with the hospital team to ensure high standards of patient care. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient exams and develop medical work‑ups. Perform diagnostic procedures and surgeries. Prescribe medications and follow controlled‑substance protocols. Communicate with clients and educate them about animal health. Maintain accurate medical records and manage pharmacy duties. Cultivate teamwork and support staff efficiency. Coordinate with the Hospital Manager on weekly priorities. Monitor inpatient cases, attend daily rounds, and uphold standards. Participate in practice management training and updates. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications (Required) Licensed veterinarian (DVM or VMD) in a U.S. state. DEA registration. 2‑3+ years of practice experience. Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills. Team‑oriented, excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Commitment to compassionate, high‑quality care. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform moderately physically demanding work. Physical ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Advanced clinical knowledge in cardiovascular, respiratory, orthopedic, neurological assessments. Problem‑solving ability within a veterinary hospital context. Effective communication with clients and staff. Professionalism and openness to constructive feedback. Business acumen regarding veterinary practice management. Knowledge of ethics in patient care. Commitment to continuing education and facilitation of learning for others. Pay Range $160,000 – $180,000 USD (for full‑time. Part‑time hours prorated).
