Job Description

A well-established nursing care facility in Columbus, GA is seeking a dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality nursing care to residents. In this role, you will perform routine LPN duties, monitor resident health, administer prescribed treatments and medications, and work closely with the nursing team to support resident care plans. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in an LPN position and is committed to providing professional, respectful care in a long-term care environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with established care plans and facility procedures
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document care accurately
• Monitor resident conditions, vital signs, symptoms, and changes in health status
• Communicate changes in resident condition to appropriate nursing or medical personnel
• Collaborate with CNAs and other healthcare team members to support safe, effective resident care

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Current LPN license or applicable professional nursing license
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in an LPN or equivalent position
• Current TB screening, including a negative PPD or chest X-ray dated within the past 5 years
• Successful completion of a skills competency assessment
• Current drug screening
• Satisfactory criminal background check
• Ability to work weekdays as needed and participate in a rotating weekend schedule

The base pay rate for this position is $26.00 per hour , excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
