Position: Material Handler (General Labor)
Location: Pooler, GA
Pay Rate: $16/hour (increase to $17/hour after 90 days & direct hire)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Some overtime may be required)
Lunch Break: 30 minutes
About the Role
We’re looking for a hardworking and reliable Material Handler to join our warehouse team in Pooler, GA! In this hands-on role, you’ll play a crucial part in moving, organizing, and handling large and heavy materials. If you thrive staying busy in a physical, team-oriented environment—we want to meet you!
IMPORTANT: Candidates must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and be comfortable unloading trucks by hand as a regular part of the job.
Key Responsibilities

• Unload incoming shipments and trailers—often by hand, pallet jack, or cart.
• Regularly lift, carry, and handle materials weighing up to 100 pounds .
• Build boxes, prepare materials, and support shipping as needed.
• Load outgoing shipments with care and attention to safety procedures.
• Organize and relocate materials throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with warehouse upkeep: sweeping, trash removal, and general tidiness.
• Support teammates by prepping loads; packing duties as needed (no order picking required).
• Identify and report damaged goods or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety standards and process guidelines at all times.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Previous general labor or warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with loading/unloading trailers and handling heavy materials is a plus.
• Physical ability and willingness to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 pounds as a routine part of the job.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and safety awareness.
• Reliable attendance and detail-oriented work habits.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, squat, and reach throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse with open doors and varied temperatures.
• Must wear tennis shoes with covered ankles, jeans, and appropriate warehouse attire.
