Overview ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital is looking for Full Time Emergency Veterinarians to join Thrive Pet Healthcare in Los Angeles. ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital-Los Angeles is growing and actively adding ER DVMs. This is more than a typical ER role. At ACCESS, you’ll work side-by-side with board-certified specialists across multiple disciplines, including surgery, neurology, oncology, exotics, and internal medicine, allowing for real-time collaboration, seamless case management, and the ability to practice at a higher level of medicine. Whether you’re stabilizing critical cases or managing complex emergencies, you’ll have the support and expertise around you to elevate outcomes and your own clinical growth. Compensation: 250,000-290,000 Your Experience & Skills Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required State Veterinary Board License: Active and in good standing for the state of intended employment; Obtained prior to start date Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible Experience in emergency medicine or completion of small animal rotating or emergency internships is highly recommended Responsibilities You’ll provide emergency care for sick and injured patients while also managing hospitalized cases. You’ll assess and diagnose patients, develop and oversee treatment plans, and partner closely with technicians to ensure high-quality execution of care. Your work will include performing surgeries, delivering critical care, and maintaining an exceptional standard of service for every patient who enters our emergency department.
