Job Description

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Forklift Drivers in Southaven, MS. As a Warehouse Associate for SURESTAFF, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including:

• Shipping & Receiving and Inventory (Picker / Packer)
• Quality Assurance
• Inventory Control (RF Scanners)
• Work productively and accurately to complete assigned pick tasks.
• Accurately read and match printed model numbers, unit quantities, and locations to pick orders.
• Demonstrate responsibility and compliance with all safety and quality policies and standards.
• Move to the work as needed in a cooperative and flowing team environment.

A year experience is necessary, and qualified applicants can start immediately! This position will require candidates to be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temporary employees are offered competitive compensation of $18.00 as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include 1st 7am or 8am to finish. Overtime is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Responsibilities of the Warehouse Forklift Drivers :

• Safely operate an Order Picker, Reach Truck, Sit Down Counterbalance, or powered pallet jack.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments.
• Load and unload pallets. Scan items into inventory control system using RF Scanner.
• Safely & efficiently use warehouse equipment including pallet jack, hydraulic jack, RF Scanner, computers, and handheld printers.
• Acurately read and match printed model numbers, unit quantities and locations to pick orders.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties and report any unsafe work area conditions.

Required Qualifications for the Wareho use ( Forklift Drivers) :

• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse position (including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory etc.) operating Reach Truck and Order Picker Lifts
• High attention to detail and safety/compliance.
• Minimum of a GED or High School Diploma.
• Demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
