Labcorp seeks a full-time phlebotomist float in Redding, California to perform blood collections across multiple clinic sites. The role involves venipuncture and capillary techniques, specimen preparation, patient data entry, and administrative support with flexible scheduling and travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques across age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Prepare specimens for testing and maintain accurate patient and specimen logs
- Process billing information, collect payments, and perform data entry
- Travel to additional clinic sites as needed; provide customer service and administrative support
Requirements
- California state-issued phlebotomy license (CPT) or filed application at hire
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- At least 21 years of age
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation for traveling between sites
