Women's Health Nurse Practitioner in Frisco, TX

Our affiliate, Unified Women's Healthcare of Texas, is looking for a WHNP Certified Nurse Practitionerto join Nurture Women's Health in Frisco, TX. Position Highlights:

• Nurture Women's Health is an established and successful practice that has served women in the Frisco and the greater Dallas Metro area for over 20 years.
• Practice team consists of 4 physicians and 1 nurse practitioner along with a great support staff.
• This is mainly a clinic only position and does not require any call, nights, or weekends.
• Duties include seeing primarily obstetrics and gynecology patients, completing charting, calling back patients with labs, answering patient phone calls, patient education, sending prescriptions electronically or by phone, and administering medications.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic women's health conditions.
• Counsel patients on contraception, fertility, and reproductive health options.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Patient Census in Clinic: up to 20 per day.
• Will perform and assist with some minimally invasive procedures that can be completed in the office, such as pap smears, endometrial biopsies, and IUD placements.

Requirements:

• Successful completion of Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program with at least 2 years of L&D or women's health experience as an RN
• Board Certification (or Board Eligibility) through AANP or ANCC
• Unrestricted, active Texas APRN-CNP license or ability to obtain
• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
• CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
• Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
• Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
• Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
