Job Description

We are seeking a Cleanroom Technician to support production, cleaning, inspection, testing, and packaging activities in a cleanroom environment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work with specialized equipment while wearing cleanroom PPE. The ideal candidate is reliable, team-oriented, and comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, assembly, inspection, testing, and packaging of products.
• Load and unload cleaning and processing equipment.
• Conduct alcohol wiping, swabbing, and nitrogen drying of parts.
• Perform leak, flow, and functional testing using designated equipment.
• Inspect components and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Bag, label, tag, and package products accurately.
• Complete production logs and required documentation.
• Follow cleanroom procedures, safety requirements, and 5S standards.
• Use hand tools and production equipment safely and effectively.
• Support multiple production areas as needed based on business demands.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Report quality or production issues to supervisors.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment while wearing full PPE, including coveralls, gloves, boots, hair covering, and face protection.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, packaging, or cleanroom environments preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to handle small or fragile components.
• Ability to follow written instructions and standardized procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous cleanroom experience.
• Familiarity with 5S or lean manufacturing practices.
• Experience with inspection, testing, or production documentation.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools.

Work Environment

This role is based in a controlled cleanroom environment that requires wearing a full cleanroom suit (bunny suit) and appropriate PPE, including coveralls, boots, hairnets or headcovers, face shields, and gloves. You will work around specialized production and testing equipment, performing tasks that may involve standing for up to 8 hours and lifting up to 50 pounds. The facility emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and adherence to 5S standards, with a structured, safety-focused atmosphere and direct supervision to support consistent quality and performance.

This is a Contract position based out of Fremont, CA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
